The house
El Corral de Villacampa is a country house and It was remodelled in 2009 as rural holiday accommodation to sleep 4 people.
It is distributed as follows:
The ground floor is an open-plan space with an American kitchen, lounge with stone chimney, TV, Internet, sofa, and dining area with traditional benches. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils, oven, glass ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge. This floor leads onto the terrace, equipped with a table and chairs.
The second floor has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, and bathroom with shower.
The house is heated with electric radiators. In addition, the chimney also warms the rooms.
The design of the apartment is characterised by a rustic feel, using wood and stone from the area. Much of the wood used for the roofs, woodwork and banisters is made of juniper wood. This was provided by the Villacampa family and restored especially for the house.
When the house was first built, it was used to keep the animals of the adjoining Casa Villacampa, which dates back to the 16th century. It is distributed in two floors and has an outdoor flagstone patio for the exclusive use of guests that is accessed from the house itself.
